BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police are investigating a stabbing near the Inner Harbor Monday evening.
Police said the stabbing happened around 5 p.m. outside the World Trade Center at the Inner Harbor. A 14-year-old boy reportedly got into an altercation with four other teens when they were stabbed in the side.
The teen ran into the Chick-Fil-A in the 400 block of East Pratt Street for help. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. police said.
Police said they believe the group and the 14-year-old knew each other from an earlier incident that happened Monday at an area high school.
Witness Ivan Gillmin said he saw the chaos erupt in a matter of minutes.
“It was hectic,” he said. “It was at least 15 squad cars going, they had the mobile unit too and the chopper was in action.”
